CURRENT ACTIVITIES

1. Working in partnership with the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs (AMCHP) to strengthen state and territorial Adolescent Health Programs.

2. Planning an Annual State Adolescent Health Coordinators Network meeting through partnership with public and private partners.

3. Consulting to national adolescent health initiatives, including:
   • National Initiative to Improve Adolescent Health by the Year 2010 (NIIAH).
   • Partners in Program Planning for Adolescent Health (PIPPAH).
   • Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) Projects.

4. Surveying of State Adolescent Health Coordinators in partnership with the National Adolescent Health Information Center (NAHIC), University of California at San Francisco, and other national partners.

5. Facilitating information sharing and networking among State Adolescent Health Coordinators through the Network Listserv.
   • Supported by the Center for Mental Health in Schools, University of California at Los Angeles.

6. Orienting new State Adolescent Health Coordinators in partnership with the National Center for MCH Personnel of the Konopka Institute for Best Practices in Adolescent Health, University of Minnesota.
